What is the Quran:
The Qur'an ("Qor-Ann") is a Message from Allah (swt) to humanity. It was transmitted to us in a chain starting from the Almighty Himself (swt) to the angel Gabriel to the Prophet Muhammad (saw). This message was given to the Prophet (saw) in pieces over a period spanning approximately 23 years (610 CE to 632 CE). The Prophet (saw) was 40 years old when the Qur'an began to be revealed to him, and he was 63 when the revelation was completed. The language of the original message was Arabic, but it has been translated into many other languages.

The Qur'an is one of the two sources which form the basis of Islam. The second source is the Sunnah of the Prophet (saw). What makes the Qur'an different from the Sunnah is primarily its form. Unlike the Sunnah, the Qur'an is literally the Word of Allah (swt), whereas the Sunnah was inspired by Allah but the wording and actions are the Prophet's (saw). The Qur'an has not been expressed using any human's words. Its wording is letter for letter fixed by no one but Allah.

Prophet Muhammad (saw) was the final Messenger of Allah to humanity, and therefore the Qur'an is the last Message which Allah (swt) has sent to us. Its predecessors such as the Torah, Psalms, and Gospels have all been superseded. It is an obligation - and blessing - for all who hear of the Qur'an and Islam to investigate it and evaluate it for themselves. Allah (swt) has guaranteed that He will protect the Qur'an from human tampering, and today's readers can find exact copies of it all over the world. The Qur'an of today is the same as the Qur'an revealed to Muhammad (saw) 1400 years ago.

Timelines

Set a detailed itinerary or "timeline" for any of your events stored in iDo. For example, you can plan the "who, what, when, where, and how" for your "wedding day." Timelines are also helpful for tracking travel arrangements.

Widgets

Inventory control is a process by which an organization keeps track of its product counts and ensures physical product counts match what is recorded in its books. From a financial standpoint, inventory is the most valuable asset of an organization engaged in buying, selling, manufacturing or otherwise handling of tangible goods. For many organizations, proper management of inventory is pivotal to customer satisfaction and long-term success. The following are few of the challenges faced by organizations in the realm of inventory control.

Challenges of Inventory Control

* Companies usually handle a large number of products. Units of products move rapidly as new orders are received, products are returned, products are drop-shipped, out of stock products are backordered or products are earmarked for a delayed shipment. The sheer volume of items makes the task of monitoring inventory complicated.

* In order to minimize cash tied up in inventory and to reduce inventory handling costs, an organization must know its current inventory count accurately at all times. This information is essential in knowing when to re-order products that are out of stock or are about to go out of stock. There are significant costs associated with carrying too much inventory such as cash tied up in slow moving inventory, inventory storage and handling costs, spoilage and obsolescence. On the other hand, carrying too few units could result in stock-outs and loss of sales or production stalls. The ultimate goal is not to order too many or too few goods. The more accurate the inventory count, the better an organization is in a position to order an Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) that minimizes inventory costs and helps negotiate best price discounts.

* Cost of goods sold is the largest expense for businesses that deal with tangible products. Inventory control must track the number of units and the monetary value of the inventory. Companies need an accurate cost of goods sold in order to calculate their profit margins per product or across products.

* Companies need to safeguard their inventory against pilferage, outright theft and loss. A process needs to be in place that keeps track of inventory and helps ensure the physical count matches product count recorded in company books. Sound inventory control is an excellent deterrent against pilferage.

Why Basic Inventory Control?

* Basic Inventory Control keeps an accurate count of products and generates list of products that need to be reordered.

* Basic Inventory Control is a perpetual inventory control system. That is, BIC provides up to date, accurate count of units in stock. Contrast a perpetual inventory control system with a periodic inventory control system where inventory counts are usually updated periodically at month, at quarter or at year end.

* Basic Inventory Control maintains a physical and available inventory count. Physical units in stock refer to products physically present on premises. Available units in stock includes physical units in stock as well as units on order. Further, BIC allows allocation of units for shipment. Allocated units are excluded from available units in stock but included in physical inventory.

* Basic Inventory Control automatically calculates the average unit cost of units as units enter and leave inventory. Average Costing method removes peaks and valleys in inventory cost as units acquired at high and low price levels average out. Cost of goods is automatically calculated on product by product basis as well as in aggregate.

* Basic Inventory Control provides customizable inventory and transactions report for cross-checking physical inventory with inventory recorded by Basic Inventory Control. Each inventory transaction is recorded providing a complete audit trail.

Basic Inventory Control (BIC) tracks the orders, receipts, shrinkage, allocation, and shipment of products. BIC displays physical units in stock, allocated units, available units in stock, and units on order. It produces reports such as Current Inventory, Out of Stock Products, and Inventory Transactions for the criteria you specify. The look-up lists and column headings in BIC are customizable. The template would commonly be an active molecule (or set of molecules) in its bioactive conformation. The template molecule could be obtained from a FieldTemplater™ alignment hypothesis, a ligand extracted from the active site of a protein, docking or pharmacophore studies.

FieldAlign™ is ideal for visual inspection of alignments of actives from different series and identifying shared field features or pharmacophores, providing a qualitative indication of field SAR. FieldAlign is useful at the early stage of library design as small virtual libraries can be aligned to an active template and the chemist can select those scaffolds and monomers which together best match the active field template. FieldAlign can also be used as an aid to lead optimisation: iteratively changing molecules in FieldAlign and observing the alignments and field patterns can provide powerful insights into the direction that your chemistry should go. It is also invaluable for overlaying series of molecules prior to 3D QSAR studies where a good alignment of the molecules is critical for obtaining meaningful models.

FieldAlign™ is available as a Linux or Windows GUI program. A Linux command line version is also available which can be readily customized by expert users.

Talking Dictionary has many outstanding features, such as a powerful spell checker and the ability to quickly scroll through various word definitions and synonyms. The dictionary also comes complete with a getting started tutorial which gives you examples of using the dictionary. Comprehensive help is also built into the product.

Looking Up Word Definitions:
1. Use the start menu or desktop shortcut to start the Talking Dictionary. If the dictionary has been minimized to the system tray, use the key combination Control Alt and R to restore it.
2. Type the word you want to look up and then press the "Enter" key. The dictionary will search for the word in its database. The dictionary will automatically speak out the first definition it finds for the word, along with the word type (i.e., noun, verb or etc).
3. Press F7 and F5 to navigate forwards and backwards through the definitions found for the word you looked up. F6 can be used to repeat anything that has just been spoken.
Tip: You can interrupt the dictionary at any time by pressing Control F2.

Reviewing Synonymous Words:
1. Type the word you want to look up and then press the "Enter" key. The dictionary will automatically speak out the first definition it finds for the word.
2. Press F4 to hear synonyms for this word. The first synonym will be spoken.
3. Press F7 and F5 to navigate forwards and backwards through the synonyms found for the word you looked up. F6 can be used to repeat anything that has just been spoken.

Browse Mode:
Talking Dictionary's word list can be browsed like an electronic book.
1. Type the first few letters of the word where you want to begin browsing.
2. Press Control B to browse the dictionary.
3. Use the arrow keys and page up / down keys to browse the dictionary entries.
4. Press the spacebar to look up any browsed entry.
5. Press Control Alt and B to resume browsing, or start again from step 1 to browse a new section of the database.

Crossword Mode:
Talking Dictionary has an extremely powerful Crossword function that can find words with up to three letters missing. Follow the instructions below to use this function.
1. Type the word you want to look up. Replace each letter that you are unsure of with an asterisk. Examples are: abs*ent, ab**ent, br**k, b**lder, b***lder and so on.
2. Press the enter key. It will take a few seconds for Talking Dictionary to search through all the possible words.
3. Press F7 and F5 to navigate forwards and backwards through the candidate words found. F6 can be used to repeat anything that has just been spoken.
Tip: You can spell any candidate by pressing F8.
Tip: You can look any candidate up by pressing F12.

Speak and Spell Words:
1. Type the word you want the dictionary to speak and / or spell.
2. Press F1 one time. The dictionary will pronounce the word you have typed in.
3. Press F1 a second time to spell the word you have typed in.
Tip: You can use Keyboard Echo to repeat the keys that you type in, as they are typed. Press F10 to toggle keyboard echo.

Summarising Words:
Summarising words provides a method of indicating how many synonyms and definitions were found for the word looked up. Alternatively, if the look up word is not found, the summary function will indicate the number of spell check alternatives found for the word.
1. Type the word you want to look up and then press the "Enter" key. The dictionary will automatically speak out the first definition it finds for the word.
2. Press F2 to find out how many definitions and synonymous words were found. If the word was not found in the dictionary database (for example, it may have been mis-spelt) then the summary key will indicate how many alternatives the spell checker found.

Using the Spell Checker:
1. Type the word you want to look up and then press the "Enter" key. If the word you looked up is not found the dictionary will use a powerful checking algorithm to estimate the word you were trying to find. Numerous suggestions will be offered. F7 and F5 can be used in the normal manner to navigate forwards and backwards through these alternative suggestions. F6 will repeat any suggested word.
Tip: Press Control Alt C to copy the current spell check alternative to the clipboard.
Tip: Press F8 to spell the current spell check alternative.
Tip: Press F12 to look up the current spell check alternative.

Using the Spell Checked in Another Program:
Note that the Talking Dictionary must be running for this to work!
1. Highlight the word you want to spell check.
2. Press the key combination Control Alt S to spell check the word. Talking Dictionary will become active and will spell check the selected word. Definitions, synonyms and spell check alternatives will be indicated in the normal way.

Using the Clipboard:
To look up a word stored in the clipboard press Control V to paste the word. Press the enter key to look the word up in the normal manner.
To copy a synonym, word definition or spell checker alternative to the clipboard use the key combination Control Alt C.

Annotations:
Its possible to associate notes and comments with words in the dictionary database.
1. Look up the word that you want to annotate.
2. Press Control A to enter annotation mode. Any existing annotations will be read out.
3. Use the keyboard in the normal manner to type in new or revised annotations for this word.
4. Press the tab key to exit annotation mode. Any annotations made or changed are automatically saved.
